L19/ Mint Federal Sword Belt Rig
$925.00
This is one fine example of the 1851 sword belt
rigs. It is complete and would look really cool with your Ames
Saber hanging off of this rig. Nice aged patina on the plate and
very pliable leather with good tight stitching. Don't let this
one get away! |

L17/ U.S. Infantry Belt Rig
$999.00
Nice pliable leather on all accoutrement's with
moderate crazing with no tears in the leather. The belt loops on
the cartridge box and cap box are very sturdy. The maker marks
are stamped in the belt, cartridge box and cap box. They are not
very legible except for the cap box which is very clear. The
cartridge box is missing it's tin inserts. The belt plate is the
spear type attachment hooks and is a very beautiful plate. The
58 cal. bayonet is in good condition with very light pitting and
comes in a nice leather scabbard. This is a married belt rig but
they are happy together and makes a loving family that wants to
stay together for years!! |

L9/ Confederate
"tongue & wreath" Sword
Belt Rig
$6000.00
This beautiful rig is from the western
theater with plate retaining a nice smooth attic aged patina and
tongue & wreath matches perfect. The leather belt is very supple
with small amount of crazing and also has the sword hangers
still strongly attached. Hard to find this rig w/ sword hangers
still present. There is however one little (but does not take
away from this rare belt rig) problem is and most all the
dealers knows this story. Lawrence Christopher left this belt rig on his
coffee table and his little dog started chewing on the leather
at one spot on the belt. It's been put back together and is
hardly noticeable but can be professionally refurbished to it's
natural state for a little of nothing. This will make a nice
addition to your collection and is a nice investment grade rig. |

the strap that can be seen in pictures. This still displays well
and will make a nice addition to any civil war collection at a
fraction of the cost! |
