ar1/ 24 lb solid shot fro the "Seize of
Vicksburg"
$285.00
(No where to run) This 24 lb solid shot
done some damage when it impacted the earth. You can only
imagine the fear the citizens of Vicksburg, Ms. were going threw
when Grant started bomb barding the city continuously.
This shell is a reminder of the harsh and brutal times that has
long been forgotten in most eyes " except for us Civil War
history nut's".
This shell is very stable and does not flack. It
has been lightly coated with a poly urethane substance to
protect it from further decaying. Both pieces match perfectly
when put together. You can see the point of impact that caused
the shell to break apart. What a nice relic from" The Seize of
Vicksburg. |
