'RARE' Confederate 3" Bourreleted (raised rings)Read w/ Brass Sabot & 3" Hotchkiss Nose

$495.00

Couple of nice shells from Liberty Gap just outside of Bell Buckle, TN. . The C.S. Read Shell had the drive in wood plug fuse adapter and is definitely early war. The later war production had the Copper Adapter fuse. The Hotchkiss Nose shell was found by a good friend Jason Pilkington. These shells are un cleaned but are disarmed. They show considerable pitting but with proper cleaning they will be slick as the top of my head.

ar8/ 1/2 Scale Fully Functional Civil War Cannon (Replica)

$2675.00

This cannon was built by a local man and is fully functional. It has a 55" long steel barrel with a 1 1/2 " or 40 mm bore. The wheel height measures 39 " tall and has a wheel span of 48". It has the oil bucket and ram rods. This cannon weighs around 450 pounds. It is very well made and looks as good as any original at the price you would pay for a small Confederate Egg Style Buckle. It is approximately 30 years old.

ar7/ 3.67 Hotchkiss Case Shot

$385.00

3.67 Hotchkiss shell that has been professionally disarmed and completely safe or I wouldn't own it. Shell has pitting as shown in pictures but is very stable and the lead sabot is in excellent condition. Screw in fuse is gone but hasn't lost it's balls, you can still here them rattling around in there! This shell came from Stones River in Murfreesboro, TN and is a non-fired specimen!

ar6/ 12 pound Bormann display

$325.00

This is an authentic 12 pound Bormann case shot that has been disarmed and cut in half to visually display how they were manufactured at the arsenals. These were fired from the Napoleon  cannons!

ar5/ 3" Hotchkiss Base and Sabot

$85.00

This pair was dug in Vicksburg, Mississippi and is the base to a 3" Hotchkiss shell that has some flaking & pitting to the iron but can be cleaned and coated to prevent further flaking of iron. The lead Sabot shows signs of rifling and is a complete and heavy piece of lead. The # 69 may be a museum reference number. This is a nice piece of history from the Siege of Vicksburg!

ar4/ Solid Shot (24 lbs.) Vicksburg, MS.

$345.00

Nice (Siege of Vicksburg, MS) relic. Nothing exciting to add about this solid shot other than it is very stable with minor pitting and has been lightly coated to prevent it from rusting. (BUT) if it could talk it could tell you a thing or two about Vicksburg in 63' !!

ar3/ Confederate 6 lb. Solid Shot on Original Sabot

$ 795.00 *SOLD* MC

Very hard to find complete six pound solid shot on it's original sabot and straps. The iron is in very good condition and very stable. This was recovered several years ago from the Milledgeville, Ga. River. This will make one fine artillery display.

ar2/   12 lbs. Napoleon Canister "Grape Stand"

$595.00 ~SOLD~

(From the great state of Mississippi). Vicksburg was the resting place for this stand of grapes, it has been reconstructed, when found it was in Forty/Eleven pieces. The stand is good and stable and ready to display. Measures 5 " tall X 4 1/4 width !

ar1/ 24 lb solid shot fro the "Seize of Vicksburg"

$285.00

(No where to run)  This 24 lb solid shot done some damage when it impacted the earth. You can only imagine the fear the citizens of Vicksburg, Ms. were going threw when Grant started bomb barding the city continuously.  This shell is a reminder of the harsh and brutal times that has long been forgotten in most eyes " except for us Civil War history nut's".

This shell is very stable and does not flack. It has been lightly coated with a poly urethane substance to protect it from further decaying. Both pieces match perfectly when put together. You can see the point of impact that caused the shell to break apart. What a nice relic from" The Seize of  Vicksburg.
